Chuck McDonald began working in the Pee Dee and Grand Strand regions of South Carolina doing mobile car interior repair with his first business American Fabric Company. A few years later he also began servicing local car dealers by restoring dull headlights and eventually alloy wheel repair. Needing a name to flow more for the broad range of services he provides he landed on the name "Good As New". Good As New services local car dealers in the Florence, SC area and has expanded to reaching all of the Pee Dee area as well as the Grand Strand, Low Country and Mid-lands of SC covering the majority of the East coast of SC.
